I am Lt. Colonel A.P. Singh, a proud officer of the Indian Armed Forces with decades of experience in leadership, discipline, and service to the nation. Throughout my military career, I have had the privilege of serving in challenging environments that shaped my understanding of courage, teamwork, and decision-making under pressure.
After years of active service, I now dedicate my time to mentoring young aspirants preparing for the Services Selection Board (SSB). My mission is to guide and inspire the next generation of officers who dream of wearing the uniform and serving the nation with pride.
As an SSB mentor, I focus on developing the core Officer Like Qualities (OLQs) required in the armed forces—leadership, confidence, communication, responsibility, and the ability to think clearly in difficult situations. My mentoring approach goes beyond exam preparation; it is about building character, mental resilience, and the right mindset to lead.
Through this blog, I aim to share insights from my journey in the armed forces, practical advice for SSB aspirants, leadership lessons from real-life experiences, and motivation for those who wish to serve the nation.
For every young aspirant dreaming of the olive green uniform, remember: an officer is not made in the SSB interview room alone—it is a reflection of your character, values, and everyday actions.
